Terms of use · Updated 22 July 2026

Using the Rayte.eu information service.

These terms explain what the comparison provides, what it does not provide and the responsibility of visitors to verify a final energy offer.

1. Operator and acceptance

Rayte.eu is operated by Nicholas John Hopes, trading as Rayte.eu, Camino de la Maquinilla 18, 29788 Frigiliana, Málaga, Spain. By using the website, a visitor agrees to these terms. Questions can be sent to nicknjh23@gmail.com.

2. Informational service

Rayte.eu provides an informational directory of electricity suppliers, solar export resources, public consumer tools and wholesale market data. It is not an energy supplier, broker, regulator, financial adviser or legal adviser. It does not enter into a supply contract for a visitor.

3. Wholesale data is not a household tariff

The live market figure is a day-ahead wholesale benchmark. A household bill may include supplier charges, standing charges, network costs, taxes, regulated components, meter arrangements, contract conditions and other amounts. The benchmark must not be treated as a guaranteed retail price, saving or feed-in payment.

4. Supplier information and verification

Supplier availability, website addresses, prices and eligibility can change without notice. A visitor must confirm the final price, contract length, cancellation terms, payment method, renewable-energy claims, export rate, meter requirements and service availability with the supplier or official national comparison service before making a decision.

5. External links

External websites are operated by third parties. A link does not mean Rayte.eu controls or guarantees the external content, service or security. Supplier and regulator pages may use their own cookies, collect information or apply different terms.

6. Sponsorship and advertising

Paid placements and sponsorships are identified. Sponsorship does not change supplier directory order or the wholesale market value. Google-served advertising is displayed separately from navigation and comparison controls and is managed according to applicable consent requirements.

7. Permitted use

The website may be used for personal research and lawful reference. Visitors must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, overload automated endpoints, introduce harmful code or use the content in a misleading way. Automated commercial extraction requires prior written permission unless applicable law clearly permits it.

8. Intellectual property and data attribution

The Rayte.eu presentation, original explanations and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners. ENTSO-E Transparency Platform data is identified in the result with its applicable attribution. Official facts and links remain subject to the rights and terms of their original publishers.

9. Availability and liability

Reasonable care is taken to keep the service available and information current, but uninterrupted access and error-free data cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, Rayte.eu is not responsible for a decision made solely from an unverified directory entry or wholesale benchmark, or for an external supplier’s acts, omissions or contract performance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes and governing law

The service and these terms may change as market sources, functionality or legal requirements develop. The current update date appears above. These terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country. Courts and dispute-resolution bodies will have jurisdiction as determined by applicable law.
