Storage used by Rayte.eu.

Rayte.eu uses limited device storage for comparison preferences and performance. Google AdSense may also use advertising storage according to the visitor’s consent choices.

Comparison preferences

Rayte.eu stores the selected country, electricity-use estimate, solar selection and export estimate in the browser under rayte-preferences-v1. This enables the comparison to remember choices on the same device. The information stays in the browser and can be deleted using the browser’s site-data settings.

Application installation message

If the installation message is dismissed, the time of dismissal may be saved under rayte-install-dismissed so the message does not reappear immediately. It is a device preference and is not used to track activity across other websites.

Cached files

A service worker may cache public files such as the stylesheet, script, icons and information pages. This helps the application load faster and provides limited offline access. The cache can be removed using the browser’s site-data or installed-app controls.

Advertising storage

Rayte.eu uses Google AdSense. Google and its approved partners may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to deliver, personalise, measure and protect advertising, depending on the visitor’s choices and applicable law. A Google-certified consent management platform is used where consent is legally required. Visitors can accept, reject or manage the available purposes and later revisit or withdraw those choices. Google may serve non-personalised or limited ads when personalised advertising has not been accepted and this is permitted.

Managing storage

Browser settings can display and delete stored website data or block storage. Blocking essential device preferences may mean the comparison no longer remembers previous choices, but the core comparison should remain available.
